Welcome to the new web site of the Frederick County Fire & Rescue Museum!! We are very fortunate to have received grant funding from the Delaplaine Foundation to allow us to upgrade to a web site developed by FIREHOUSE SOLUTIONS, the same vendor used by many of the fire and rescue companies in Maryland. We will be able to provide frequent updates and add a members roster to provide direct communication to our volunteer docents.

Additional information will be added in the various sections of the web site including the past editions of "The Back Step" and individual histories of the member fire and rescue companies in Frederick County.

The FREDERICK COUNTY FIRE & MUSEUM is located at 300B South Seton Ave in Emmitsburg and is open on Saturday and Sunday from 12 - 4PM for the summer season!!
